I purchase random souvenirs from every destination race I attend.

What is your most unusual talent?

Energy sensitive… Meaning I can sense others true emotions.

What is the scariest thing you have ever done?

During the 268-mile Montane Spine Race in the U.K. … I was caught in the high country what was later labeled the worst storm Britain has seen in 30 years. Enduring the heavy snow, high winds and zero visibility, I had to self-navigate through thigh deep snow for over 40-miles to the next check point. With only having lightweight winter gear to stay light and fast, it was necessary to keep moving to generate enough internal heat to not freeze.

Why do you like working with Gnarly?

Gnarly understands the athletes, community and culture of the sports it partners with. They respect the world we live on and understand the importance of not only keeping our environment clean, they also understand the importance of keeping our bodies clean by providing clean sports nutrition products.

Outside of your respective sport, what are you most proud of?

My role as a husband and father. My family is my driving force.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

What else… Hamburgers!!!

Who is your hero? Why?

My father! He is the mentally strongest man I have ever met.

Any advice for aspiring athletes?

Be HUMBLE and listen to those that have gone before you. And also SELFLESS by sharing your knowledge and experience with others.
