Miyamoto Musashi. He was an iconoclast, a contemplative imaginative renegade. He embodied a lifelong pure spirit of self-inquiry, discovery, reconsideration, and refinement. He invented a new sword style and became the most famous and successful swordsman in Japanese history, and is considered by many to be the sword saint of Japan. Any advice for aspiring athletes? 1) Know (for real) why you're doing it. 2) It never really happens the way you think it will. 3) Cultivate relationships that you love, because eventually they will be all that remains.
