    I’m a climber and I spend a lot of time bouldering. Under the power stack you had both the maximus pre and pump listed. How do you suggest using these together? Are there particular benefits on using one over the other?

      We generally recommend taking the Maximus PRE 30 minutes before exercise and the Pump can really be taken any time of day. Although Pump has some caffeine and vasodilators that would be of benefit before training, the main purpose behind the product is creatine supplementation and as long as you’re consistent with taking creatine daily, time of day doesn’t matter that much. When taking creatine consistently it boosts phosphocreatine levels in your muscles and improves ATP generation and recycling during power movements, like bouldering. The Maximus PRE is more of a classical pre-workout, meaning that the ingredients will have a direct benefit on energy, endurance and recovery if taken right before training.

    I’ve been using your BCAAS as my pre-workout supplement, and I absolutely love it. I was hoping you could tell me how the Maximus Pre differs. It seems like they serve the same purpose? Would you recommend one over the other for as a Pre and/or Post workout supplement?

      Hi Michael – We apologize for the late reply. While the Maximus PRE has BCAAs, it also has citrulline malate (for blood flow), beta alanine (acid buffer) and glutamine (recovery). Additionally the PRE has a lot more caffeine (at 180mg/serving) and “feels” like a pre-workout – giving you energy without the jitters. Some customers have been mixing the BCAAs with the PRE for a higher BCAA dose. Either way, we recommend the PRE or BCAAs about 30 minutes before your workout and then following up with a good protein and carb source to promote muscle synthesis and top off glycogen stores.
