Don’t Rely on Your Protein Alone for BCAAs

While protein supplementation is integral to post-workout recovery, incorporating free-form BCAAs into your regimen will increase plasma BCAA levels higher than any protein supplement. With 5g of BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio, Gnarly BCAAs provide a powerful dose of essential amino acids to help support and rebuild muscle during or after intense training.

Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine - The BCAA Power Trio

Increased leucine intake enhances protein synthesis rates, and may even compensate for suboptimal protein intake. So why not just take leucine? Although isoleucine and valine may stimulate muscle protein synthesis to a lesser extent than leucine, research suggests that the combination of all three branched chain amino acids in a 2:1:1 ratio increases protein synthesis (muscle growth) better than leucine alone or a placebo.

Why Our BCAA’s are Vegan

The majority of BCAAs on the market are animal-sourced, and therefore don’t align with everyone’s dietary preferences. Our goal is to provide all athletes, regardless of nutritional preferences, clean and high-quality products.

Best flavored natural BCAA on the market

“Deeeeeeeeamn, those are good!” is a very real response from Gnarly BCAA customers. No need to tilt your head back, hold your nose, and chug these aminos. We’ve worked hard to bring you a refreshing BCAA blend that tastes amazing and doesn’t compromise our commitment to provide clean, natural nutrition.

Our “No list” is Your Dream List. Check it out!

NO Artificial Colors - Gnarly uses natural food colors extracted from plants, minerals, or other natural sources.

NO Artificial Flavors - Our flavors are not chemically synthesized, but naturally sourced.

NO Artificial Sweeteners - Our naturally occurring low calorie sweeteners, like stevia and monk fruit extract, provide amazing taste and enable you to regulate the carbohydrate intake that fits best with your lifestyle.

NO Soy or Gluten - Different diets work for different people. Therefore, we offer high-quality products for vegans and omnivores, and leave out common allergens and gut irritants like soy and gluten.

NO GMOs - There’s not enough evidence to determine the full impact of GMOs on humans and the environment, therefore Gnarly Nutrition chooses to source ingredients that are GMO-free.

  2. Question

What are your BCAA’s sourced from? I know it says vegan, but from what specifically? Also, what are the “Natural Flavors” in the ingredients in the fruit punch flavored BCAA’s? Thanks,

Brandon, our BCAA’s are sourced from glucose fermentation, our glucose source is also NONGMO. Flavoring is literally a Fruit Punch Flavor, Raspberry Flavor and Blackberry Juice Powder. Flavors are proprietary so flavor companies will not divulge the actual source of each flavor. Hope that helps.

  3. Question

Are the BCAAs packaged in a peanut or tree but facility?

Gnarly products are manufactured in a facility that also processes milk, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts and wheat.” While we do segregate ingredients and clean machines thoroughly after each run, we still advise customers that there may be unintentional cross-contamination between major allergen-containing and allergen-free products. That said, we do implement an allergen control plan and comply with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices in an effort to reduce and hopefully eliminate cross-contact.

I used to have to take BCAA capsules because I couldn’t find any without sucralose. I really love this product and enjoy using it for fasted cardio and sometimes during the day when I’m between meals and running low on energy. It tastes great! I’m ready to order my third bottle now!

I bought this product because I try keep my diet as natural as possible. I was weary about the taste, but I loved it! It tastes amazing and my body has responded great. The only draw back has nothing to do with the actual product. I wish the container was wider, its hard to reach the bottom of the container when the product gets low.

question FFY,I always wneodr how long you can supplement on stuff. I know it’s good to put your body on these supplements like BCAA for six to eight weeks then take off for a few weeks to let your body go with out and then get back on if you want. This makes it more effective for better gains. If your body is used to preforming on a supplement for so long then decrease in gains over time.I even go a few weeks without regular whey protein a few times a yearWhat are your thoughts.

Our BCAA’s have 35mg of Caffeine. The Decaf does not contain any caffeine and is the same price as our other BCAA’s

Berry Lemonade is AMAZING!! I have tried other Stevia sweetened BCAA powders before and they have all been horrible! I really wanted to supplement my diet with BCAAs but refused to use sucralose sweetened products. The search for a BCAA with Stevia was challenging! I received my order and mixed up my first bottle with very low expectations. Wow! Was I surprised! This stuff actually tastes really, really great! I will definitely be ordering again!
