Do you collect anything? I collect routes, ridges, and loops I've run on a map. I collect pretty things from pretty places, knives, and artwork from my favorite artists and friends. What is your most unusual talent? I can imitate a raven. What is the scariest thing you have ever done? I was in the middle of a solo adventure run in western Greenland and climbing up a steep face when the rocks slid out from under me and I tossed myself onto a ledge before the whole face crumbled beneath me. I almost puked I was so shaken up. Why do you like working with Gnarly? Because Gnarly makes not only the best products for pre, during, and post activity, but the tastiest! Outside of your respective sport, what are you most proud of? Being able to support myself as a freelance illustrator and my portfolio of artwork. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? TACOS! Who is your hero? Why? Billy Murray. He is strange but knows how to enjoy himself, goes out of his way to make strangers feel special, and truly lives in the moment which is something I hope everyone can practice. Any advice for aspiring athletes? Learning how to go full send is important, but learning how to recover is everything. I recommend... Gnarly Vegan - I love making smoothies before a big day in the mountains or after a big workout. My go to smoothie is Gnarly Vegan in vanilla with almond milk, banana, basil leaves and mango. BCAAs -These are great during a long session at the climbing gym or after a big workout. I like to drink them after my training runs. The drink mix is a great way to speed up muscle recovery. I travel with a container of it.
