Plant Protein Powder
Can Be Gritty

Ours isn’t. Gnarly Vegan has a rich, flavor profile without the chalky, grainy mouth feel of other plant proteins.

There’s A Lot In This
Blend

Gnarly Vegan combines pea protein isolate, chia seed protein and cranberry seed protein to deliver 20g of protein per serving. It’s free of saturated fat or cholesterol, highly digestible, and hypoallergenic. By combining these proteins, Gnarly Vegan contains all 9 essential amino acids and is a rich source of antioxidants, and healthy fatty acids.

Does Fiber Matter?

It matters more than you think. A high-fiber diet helps maintain bowel health, and it promotes healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Gnarly Vegan has 7g of fiber per serving.

Is This a Meal Replacement?

Gnarly Vegan is more than a protein supplement. It’s a total meal replacement packed with 12 vitamins and minerals, making up 50% of your daily nutrition.

Our “No list” is Your Dream List.
Check it out!

NO Artificial Colors - Gnarly uses natural food colors extracted from plants, minerals, or other natural sources.

NO Artificial Flavors - Our flavors are not chemically synthesized, but naturally sourced.

NO Artificial Sweeteners - Our naturally occurring low calorie sweeteners, like stevia and monk fruit extract, provide amazing taste and enable you to regulate the carbohydrate intake that fits best with your lifestyle.

NO Soy or Gluten - Different diets work for different people. Therefore, we offer high-quality products for vegans and omnivores, and leave out common allergens and gut irritants like soy and gluten.

NO GMOs - There’s not enough evidence to determine the full impact of GMOs on humans and the environment, therefore Gnarly Nutrition chooses to source ingredients that are GMO-free.

The best tasting vegan protein I have ever tried! Mixes well in water or almond milk. Smooth texture and great taste! I’m a convert! No other protein powder will do!

  2. 5 out of 5 Taste is excellent, mixes so easy in a blender bottle

    Troy H.

I have used all sorts of whey and plant based protein mixes. This was so good tasting compared to the Vega + Greens I normally use. There wasn’t any of the ‘dirt’ taste of Vega or the metallic taste of mixes with Stevia . Definitely like this the best of all the mixes I have used. Taste so good I want more.

You should always consult your licensed healthcare practitioner when adding things to your diet while breastfeeding, but protein needs do increase during lactation and adding a protein supplement like Gnarly Vegan or Gnarly Whey is a great way to meet those needs.

  4. 5 out of 5 Favorite plant-based protein, hands down

    Kelsey

I’ve been experimenting with plant-based proteins for over a year, and this is the best one I’ve tried by far. I found this protein through Instagram actually, from Taylor Dayne Loyd – and I have not been disappointed. It’s great to drink with water or milk (I use soy milk) or to mix into smoothies. Unlike some other plant-based proteins I’ve tried, it’s not grainy or chalky at all. I’ve even used the chocolate flavor in brownie recipes. Highly recommend it!

  6. 5 out of 5 Great taste

    Ellen Lavoie (verified owner)

I’ve tried other chocolate protein drinks and they tend to taste like bland cocoa. This one is great! And even better, I love the nutritional aspect of it. I’ve even had it while out running and my stomach is perfectly happy.

  7. 5 out of 5

Gnarly Nutrition Team Nicole (verified owner)

I am intolerant to cow’s milk and soy products so most protein powder makes me feel crappy; however, this stuff makes me feel great. It’s awesome that they have made the product all natural as well! That definitely helps my crunchy side feel good.

  9. 5 out of 5 Not a Vegan but this is Great!

    Steve S

Due to some dietary restrictions, I recently switched from Gnarly Whey with milk to Vegan with water and actually prefer the Vegan! Both flavors are great but I like chiseled chocolate a little bit better than viscous vanilla.

  10. Question

    SYBILLE

Hi, why does your Vegan Protein Powder have this much Sodium? That might be the reason for me to consider a different protein. Thank you

Something wrong with this post? Thanks for letting us know. If you can point us in the right direction...

    • Bryan Holladay

The majority of the sodium contribution comes from the pea protein isolate, where it is used as a processing aid. We have recently switched to a lower sodium pea protein isolate giving our chocolate a total sodium content of 400mg/50g serving and our vanilla a total sodium content of 180mg/50g (current lot does have the low sodium pea protein isolate, but the label was not corrected)

Best vegan protein I’ve ever had!!! No rice or soy protein makes it even better, not to mention the amino acid profile. I will always be a fan of this protein.

Gnarly Vegan is the BEST vegan protein powder on the market, period! The taste and texture are fantastic and there isn’t any funky after taste like most other plant based proteins have. I have the Vicious Vanilla daily and the Chiseled Chocolate is great too. I love this stuff!

  13. Question

    Andres

Does the Vegan protein contain any stimulants or caffeine? Or anything that gives jitters?

    • Shannon

      Shannon (verified owner)

      Hi Andres,
The vegan protein has no caffeine, stimulants or any other ingredient that would cause the jitters. The Chocolate flavor may have minimal caffeine due to the inclusion of Cocoa, but that would be the only source. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
