The Endurance Sample Box

Are you an endurance athlete looking for new products to fuel your furthest efforts? Test out the Gnarly line with this curated collection of samples just for you!

  • Fuel2O Stickpack - Have a long training day planned? Gnarly Nutrition’s Fuel20 is your all-in-one, vegan-friendly fueling solution. Gnarly Fuel2O contains 100 calories per 12 oz serving from sucrose and dextrose, two carbohydrates that are easy to digest during big endurance efforts. With 250mg of sodium per serving as well as the electrolytes chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium, Gnarly Fuel2O replaces the electrolytes you lose when you sweat.
  • Hydrate Stickpack - Don’t need to replace calories but want to stay hydrated?  Gnarly Hydrate is for you! Loaded with electrolytes and B vitamins to fuel tough workouts, serious races and big days out in the hills, Gnarly Hydrate is low in sugar, big on taste, and formulated to keep you charging toward your best.
  • Both Chocolate and Vanilla Stickpack in your choice of Whey or Vegan Protein. An often overlooked component of endurance training is recovery, and Gnarly protein kickstarts muscle protein synthesis while also repairing muscle damage and reducing recovery time.
  • Your choice between Collagen or BCAAs Stickpack -  Endurance athletes put a lot of stress on the musculoskeletal system and collagen supplementation can help to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient joints. Are you vegan or vegetarian and not open to collagen supplementation?  Switch out collagen for Gnarly BCAAs!  Research supports that the branched chain amino acid leucine can also stimulate collagen synthesis in our joints and is a great alternative to collagen supplementation.

Nice surprise

All I have tried so far is the Fuel 2O. I had tried Gnarly at an event when I ran out of another brand and at that time, I wasn’t very impressed. But I wanted to give it another try and this time the experience was much better. Good flavor and seemed to really help on my run. I wouldn’t mind a little more salt but otherwise this was good.

Phenomenal

Each item was superb. I sampled when I needed the most and the payoff was real.

Good so far

My only 'not awesome' about this box so far is that the Fuel 2O flavor was a little strong for my liking and would have preferred a slightly more watered down flavor. Otherwise everything has been good so far. I ordered the orange-pineapple hydration mix as I liked the flavor and I believe it is more cost effective than the Liquid IV I've been drinking. I still need to try the vanilla protein power and the collagen packet.

Give more information about how to use

The sample box was great. I find the descriptions of the products and how to use them lacking and vague. It is unclear with the products if they are to be used before, during or after workouts. They could be much clearer about the product use.

Extreme overdistance

I tested the product in a high altitude over distance day. The hydration product and the fuel both performed to the standards needed. These products will cover the nutrition requirements for ultra running.
