New flavor, new look!
Meet our newest Hydrate flavor! With its mouth-watering tastiness that resembles one of our favorite whole foods, Raspberry has quickly become a fan favorite among our athletes and team members at Gnarly HQ.
We think you’ll like it, too!
If you’re a longtime Gnarly fan, the first thing you might notice (besides the deliciousness!) is the new packaging. We’ll be consistently updating packaging over the coming months, and Gnarly Hydrate was the first in our lineup to receive this upgrade, aside from our brand new product, Fuel2O.
If you didn’t know, we announced this new look and direction a few months ago. We can’t wait to keep rolling out these changes! Let us know what you think of our new look by shooting us a message on Instagram.

What's up with the new packaging?
We all know it, so let’s not beat around the bag.
Plastic = bad.
We’re working on improving this across our line, and the first step is to continue updating our previous bags (used for Gnarly Greens and Hydrate). Those bags? Definitely not great. Which is why in late 2020, we switched to our current option, a recyclable bag.
One question we hear often is, “Why not use compostable or biodegradable bags?” While we do love the way both of these options sound, the reality is not as ideal. Compostable bags are too permeable to air and moisture, meaning product life is drastically reduced. And the biodegradable bags currently available actually leave 40% or more plastic or compost in your landfill. Because of these reasons, we do not see compostable or biodegradable bags as viable options.
While we don’t see our latest solution as a long-term fix, we do view it as a step in the right direction. We’re constantly looking for ways to Push Our Possible, so rest assured we keep our ears close to the ground when it comes to this topic.
Where do i recycle my gnarly bags?
Recycling in the US, unfortunately, is never as easy as we’d like it to be. Which is why taking the extra steps to recycle properly, following all the guidelines available, will help your efforts to your recycling gets, well, recycled. Check out this link (maybe even bookmark it so you don’t forget!) so you can find a recycling drop-off location near you.
